Based on the multi-award-winning ROADTEC 01, the tread design of the ROADTEC 01 SE incorporates a higher full/empty ratio on the shoulders of both the front and rear tires, ensuring more sportiness and more muscle dedicated to sport-touring enthusiasts. As proof of this, the central section of the ROADTEC 01 SE matches the full/empty ratio of the ROADTEC 01 reaching 82% to benefit from the advanced water drainage technologies developed in the ROADTEC 01. Moving to the sides, the shoulders of the ROADTEC 01 SE incorporate a full/empty ratio that varies from 90% towards the slick, which starts from 25 degrees of inclination; in contrast, the ratio of the grand-tourer ROADTEC 01 ranges from 84% to 94%. Thanks to this feature, the ROADTEC 01 SE has more rubber on the road at high lean angles, ensuring greater confidence when leaning and directional stability.
