Improving 'The very best'

 

Is it possible to improve the characteristics of the chassis and performance of a World Champion motorcycle? It's not easy when the motorcycles in question are those of Steve Holcombe or Brad Freeman. But the technicians at Betamotor like challenges, so directly from the racing department, the competition versions of their eight models shown in the summer arrive, and as of this month of October, they are already available in all official dealerships of the brand.

We are talking about the models with the 'RACING' surname; very similar to the motorcycles of their official riders in the EnduroGP World Championship.

As usual, Beta has once again put all the necessary resources to transform the RR Racing into a true customer racing motorcycle; capable of facing any situation that may arise during a competition.

In this sense, there are two major innovations in the 2T and 4T models RR Racing MY 2024. The first and most outstanding one? The flagship of Beta Racing, the RR Racing 300 2T, introduces a new engine with double spark plug. Also, the RR Racing 125 2T receives a completely revised engine.

As for the second one, ALL the RR Racing range features a new chassis. They also feature new high-level graphics and components, prepared for racing.

The RR Racing represent the competition version of the Enduro RR models and therefore differ from the latter by a series of modifications in the engine, suspension, chassis, and equipment, which make them ideal for offering the maximum in racing.

For the Model Year 2024, the innovations are undoubtedly very impressive and consistent with the design philosophy of these models: to offer everyone the possibility of maximizing the available performance with minimal effort, to always give the best.

By the way, once again, ALL the street models have their corresponding race replica: the four 2T models (125, 200, 250, and 300 cc) and the four 4T models (350, 390, 430, and 480 cc).

If the RR MY 2024 range was born to 'Enjoy the rideability', both for racing and for going out with friends, the new RR Racing MY 2024 will give you 'The Double of Fun'.

 
 

List of improvements in the RR Racing MY 2024 range

 

Faithful to Beta's most sporty tradition, the motorcycles in the RR Racing MY 2024 range differ from the standard version in several aspects. Not in vain, the Racing DNA of the most sporty version of Beta's enduro range emerges in the RR Racing MY 2024 in numerous aspects, but above all in the following:

In all models (2T and 4T):
 
Chassis

The adoption of Kayaba fork and shock absorber is confirmed, while the main novelty is the new chassis:

- Chassis. All the new RR Racing MY 2024, except for the 125/200 2T, are mounted on a completely new chassis. The steering tube beam now has a larger cross-section than before (1 cm), introduced to give the vehicle greater rigidity, increasing its resistance to torsion and lateral flexion. In terms of handling, this translates into greater precision in entering and cornering, where less flexion allows the motorcycle to be more directional, with a more noble and direct response. This main modification, with which the official team has already successfully competed, brings with it a whole series of adaptations in supports, engine mounts, etc., introduced for the new characteristics of the chassis. In addition to what has already been indicated, it should be noted that the footpeg mounts have been made narrower than in the past on the lower part, to reduce the possibility of them getting stuck in the ground when passing through deeper channels. On the other hand, the rear brake pump mount has been revised to accommodate the new Nissin brake pump.

- Nissin Brake Pump. The new chassis can now accommodate a new higher-performance Nissin brake pump. The component represents an evolution of the previous model and is distinguished not only by its external construction but also by greater braking power, combined with improved modulability.

 

Suspensions

- Kayaba AOS closed cartridge fork ø 48 mm. The anodized internal elements and the treatments applied to the materials minimize sliding friction, while the usual compression and rebound adjustments allow you to always find the optimal customization of the setting. The calibration has been properly revised by Betamotor technicians so that the component now works better with the characteristics of the new chassis.

- Kayaba C46 RCU shock absorber. The KYB shock absorber can be considered a reference in the competition context for its ability to absorb terrain irregularities, the level of traction transferred to the vehicle, and the consistency of its performance even under particularly intense use, and it is fully customizable in its hydraulic adjustment by operating the external compression (both high and low speed) and rebound adjustments.

 

Racing Components

- Quick-release front wheel axle. This component, immediately recognizable by the anodized quick-release axle in red, is essential to save valuable seconds when changing a tire during a race.

- Reinforced handguards. The new handguards, designed and manufactured internally by Betamotor, are characterized by being stamped in a bicomponent material, in red and blue, which in addition to giving a racing look to the motorcycle, are especially resistant to the most intense off-road use.

- Ergal footpegs. To always have maximum control and never lose contact with the motorcycle, the RR Racing uses competition footpegs in black ergal with steel pins, which offer a large contact surface.

- Anodized aluminum core sprocket with steel teeth by ZF SPROCKETS. High performance, lightweight, and robust; this is the perfect combination that every racing component should have.

- Specific racing seat in pink and blue. With non-slip coating and document pocket, to guarantee maximum grip, comfort, and functionality.

- Anodized black shift lever and rear brake pedal.

- Anodized red aluminum oil cap, engine oil cap, and oil filter cap.

- Red ergal chain tensioner.

- New Racing graphics and red and blue rim stickers.

 
 

Main innovations in the RR Racing 2T MY 2024

 
 
Oil Mixer

In the RR Racing 2T MY 2024, Beta confirms the decision to do without the automatic mixer so that its Racing motorcycles continue to be a benchmark in terms of lightness and maneuverability. Therefore, the RR Racing 2T models require an oil and gasoline premix, a feature that accentuates the racing character of this version.

The oil mixer can be installed at a later time, as an 'aftermarket' accessory from the Factory Parts Beta catalog.

 

Engine
RR Racing 2T 300

The engine of the multi-world champion motorcycle with Brad Freeman is known in the off-road scene for its torque and linear delivery, capable of providing enviable progression, which ends in an extremely generous power peak. Well, with the introduction of the new double spark plug cylinder head, these characteristics have improved even more.

And it is that the power delivery is even more linear and, although the maximum power has increased, the maneuverability of the vehicle is noticeably superior. This result has been achieved thanks to the two spark plugs, which bring numerous benefits:

- They allow for a better distribution of the fuel ignition points in the cylinder chamber, with the consequent reduction of wasted fuel, making the system more efficient and achieving a significantly lower level of residues thanks to the better carburetion stability, at all engine speeds. This translates into smoother power delivery.

- The range of use of the engine has been further expanded, with more torque and more power available.

- The two spark plugs are managed with a completely independent electrical system. This means that if one of the two spark plugs burns out, the engine continues to run, although not in the most efficient way, allowing you to always complete the race or off-road lap.

How much is the shipping cost ?
