MANEUVERABILITY

ROADTEC 02 enhances the pleasure of riding and ease of maneuverability. The tread surface is very smooth thanks to the reduced amount of grooves on the tread pattern, thus increasing the quality and ease of maneuverability. Fewer grooves result in fewer interruptions of the contact surface, leading to less vibrations, less noise, and a smoother transition from upright to lean.

DRY GRIP

ROADTEC 02 improves grip in dry conditions. The higher proportion of rubber in contact with the ground allows the tread area to offer more grip. Additionally, the Adaptive Tread Pattern design increases the compactness of the tread and responsiveness when riding faster. The rear tires feature dual compound, with a softer zone on the shoulders that enhances grip when leaning. This soft zone covers approximately 80% of the tire width, evenly divided between both sides.

WET GRIP

ROADTEC 02 improves grip in wet conditions. The new generation of 100% silica compounds on both the front and rear enhances chemical adhesion on wet roads. Using similar compounds on the front and rear shoulders provides a consistent contact feel when leaning.
