The SRL-EXT features Mesh and Bluetooth communication technology, and smartphone connectivity for music, GPS directions, phone calls and much more.

DESIGNED FOR SHOEI NXR 2

The SRL-EXT has been designed specifically for the Shoei NXR 2 motorcycle helmet. The shape of the SRL-EXT main module and external battery is arched to adapt to the outer curves of the NXR 2 shell. Users have the option to mount the SRL-EXT with a quick clamp mount or adhesive mount. The SRL-EXT main module is installed on the left side of the helmet, and the external battery attaches to the right side of the helmet.

HARMAN KARDON SOUND

The SRL-EXT motorcycle intercom speakers and microphone have been manufactured in collaboration with the audio experts at Harman Kardon to provide first-class sound inside your Shoei motorcycle helmet. Expertly designed speakers and an all-new microphone deliver an unprecedented audio experience. The audio transmitted by the speakers is clear and crisp; and the microphone, with a sensor specially developed for it, guarantees unmatched performance.

BLUETOOTH/MESH INTERCOM

SRL-EXT offers two types of communication protocols; Mesh Intercom and traditional 4-way Bluetooth, allowing connection with any Sena device.

In addition, the Mesh Intercom communication protocol has two modes: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) and Group Mesh Intercom.

Open Mesh is the industry's first Mesh Intercom channel system. Like Walkie Talkie systems, Open Mesh allows users to switch from one channel to another. With Open Mesh, riders only have to press a button to connect to the Mesh Intercom network, supporting a virtually unlimited number of participants within a coverage range of up to 8 km (Minimum 6 users, 1.6 km between each one) .

Group Mesh supports a single private group of up to 24 participants and with the same reach as Open Mesh, but with the difference that only invited users can join the group. Open Mesh and Group Mesh provide unprecedented audio quality and very stable connectivity.

VOICE COMMANDS

With voice commands it is possible to control the functions of the SRL-EXT intercom, for example answering the phone or starting a Group Mesh session. SRL-EXT supports voice commands in eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
