From a design point of view, the EX-Zero follows the lines of Shoei's "EX" series from 1980 but with a very compact and refined style, a great combination for those motorcyclists who love customization.

SECURITY

Shell in AIM

The shell of the Shoei EX-Zero has been manufactured using the exclusive Shoei AIM technology, which offers high rigidity and a very light weight. The structure of the shell is composed of various layers of fiberglass and organic fibers with the ability to distribute the energy of impacts with optimal rigidity. Safety is guaranteed by complying with the strict standards of each country.

In addition, a tapered shape has been adopted for the chin bar which contributes to reducing the force of the wind on the rider's head.

EPS shock absorption system

We use a double density EPS for shock absorption. When an impact occurs, it is progressively and effectively absorbed in balance with the stiffness of the shell. In addition to improving shock absorption, precise placement of the EPS results in a more compact and lightweight helmet design.

Double-D safety lock

Easy to handle, offering a perfect fit at all times for the rider.

EQRS security system

The new Shoei EX-Zero is equipped with the EQRS quick release emergency system. This system allows medical personnel to easily remove the side padding from the crashed rider's helmet. Once removed, the helmet can be safely removed from the rider's head without having to strain the neck area thus avoiding possible injury

display system

The screen is one of the important points that affect the safety of the motorcyclist. The new Shoei EX-Zero is equipped with the new CJ-3 screen, which offers excellent performance, but without sacrificing style to maintain that vintage touch of the helmets of yesteryear.

The CJ-3 screen has a rounded shape emulating the shape of classic glasses. The bottom is very similar to the old bubble screens.

COMFORT

Manufactured in 3 different shell sizes for a perfect fit and compact dimensions in each helmet size.

Interior padding

The interior padding of a helmet becomes an essential factor for it to fit well and be comfortable. The Shoei EX-Zero combines both factors, but we have also made them consistent with a classic style with small details such as the leather finishes at the base of the helmet and Nubuck on the inside of the screen to avoid possible reflections caused by the sun.

The side padding ensures a firm fit thanks to the multiple layers of polyurethane of different types of density depending on the area in contact with the rider's face. We paid a lot of attention to the profile of the side padding and the hardness of the polyurethane foams, adjusting part by part to eliminate possible gaps, thus improving the noise according to the profiles of the temples of the glasses.

VENTILATION

Great care has been taken in the design of the chin guard air intake, the shape of the holes and the aluminum protective grilles give the EX-Zero a more aggressive look and a neo-retro air.
